India won 2nd T20 by 6 wickets against Srilanka and tied Royal Stag cup 2009 by 1 – 1
Today on 12th December 2009, India played 2nd 20-20(T20) of two match series Royal Stag cup 2009 against Srilanka at Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali - Chandigarh. Srilanka was lead the two T20 match series by 1-0. at the early of the match, Srilanka won the toss and choose to bat first.This toss won of the srilanka was very very good and Srilanka Manage 206/7 in limited 20 overs and set the target for India was 207 in limited 20 overs. but India played outstandingly and achieved the target of 207 in 20th overs. India won 2nd 20 – 20 by 6 wickets and tied with srilanka by 1 – 1.
1st Inning
Srilanka’s Batting
Srilanka’s starting was not so good and Srilanka lost it’s 1st wicket of Tillekeratne Dilshan(1 runs) on 10 runs of team total. then after very big partnership was created between Sanath Jayasuriya and Srilanka’s captain Kumar Sangakkara of 81 runs. Sanath Jayasuriya scored 31 runs in just 21 balls with 5 fours and 1 six. Kumar Sangakkara scored back to back and again fifty in this 2nd match and he scored 59 runs in just 31 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Chinthaka Jaysinghe scored 38 runs in just 28 balls with 3 fours and 1 six.

Back to back in 2nd match India’s bowling was very bad and many bowlers gives runs with more than 10 runs per over economy. Yuvraj Singh picked up 3 wickets and Ishant Sharma picked up 2 wicket. Yusuf Pathan picked up one wicket for India.

In the answer of Srilanka’s 206/7, India’s starting was so so good and Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir scored 58 runs in 1st wicket partnership. Gautam Gambhir was run out on his 21 runs in 18 balls with 1 four. but today was only for Nazaf Garh’s Nawab and India means Virender Sehwag and he scored 64 runs in just 36 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes. then after Yuvraj Singh and m S Dhoni played outstandingly together and India won the match.
