Sri Lankan National cricket team lead by the captain Kumar Sangakkara arrived in the Mumbai Airport on Sunday. They are scheduled to play three Test matches, five ODIs and two T20 matches against India in the 50 day long tour.

Though Sri Lanka have made six tours to India in the past and Sri Lanka has played 14 Test matches in India but they are still to open their account in winning matches on Indian Soil. Kumar Sangakkara has said that, his team wants to Rewrite History in this tour.

With no Sanath Jayasuriya in the team, the Sri Lankan team has send a strong message to not only the veteran but also every member of the team that performance counts in being in the squad.
