Australia won Hero Honda cup-2009 with one ODI left

Today on 8th November 2009,India lost the Hero Honda cup-2009 in their home because Australia played outstanding cricket in Guwahati.today India played 6th ODI of the seven match one day series against Australia.this was the Do or Die match for the India because India was already dump by 3-2 in this ODI series before this match.Australia won the 6th match by 6 wicket and won the Hero Honda cup-2009 with one ODI left.at the early of the match, India won the Toss and Choose to bat first. Doug Bollinger was awarded by Man of the Match.

India’s Batting

India’s starting was very very bad after winning the toss and choose to bat first because India lost their 5 top class batsman wickets on 27 runs.after the big crushing, India manage 170 runs and India set the Target for Australia was 171 runs in limited 50 overs. zero of the full series, Ravindra Jadeja scored 57 runs in 103 deliveries with 6 fours.Praveen Kumar scored outstanding 54 runs in just 51 deliveries with 7 fours and 1 sixes.Doug Bollinger took 5 wickets haul and this was the his career best performance.

India set the Target for Australia was 171 runs in limited 50 overs and this target was not enough to won the match for India. Australia easily scored 172 runs with 6 wicket left. after this winning, Australia won the 6th match by 6 wickets and won the series (Hero Honda cup-2009) with 1 ODI left.
