Australia won the 4th match by 24 runs

Today on 2nd November 2009,India was played 4th ODI of the Hero Honda cup 2009 against Australia in Mohali, Chandigarh.before this match India lead the series by 2-1.at the early of the match, India won the toss and choose to bat first.Australia won the 4rd match against India by 24 Runs and tie the 7 match series by 2-2. Shane Watson was announced Man of the Match.

Australia’s Batting:

Australia’s starting was not so good and their opener Shaun Marsh was out on just 5 runs in faced 23 deliveries.Shane Watson scored 49 runs in 52 balls with 6 fours.Ricky Ponting (Punter) scored 52 runs in 59 deliveries with 5 fours and 1 sixes. but today highlights of the Australia’s batting inning was batting of young Cameron White.he scored 62 runs in just 71 deliveries with 3 fours and 1 six.Mike Hussey scored 40 runs in 41 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.

India’s bowling attack in Mohali was not so good as in Delhi and Australia manage 250/10 in 49.2 overs.Ashish Nehra took 3 wickets.Harbhajan Singh took 2 wickets and Yuvraj Singh picked up 1 wicket.Australia set the target for India was 251 runs in limited 50 overs.

India’s Batting:

India’s starting was average because in because after some spectacular shot, Virender Sehwag was out on 30 runs in just 17 balls.but then after India give their wickets at regular interval.Sachin Tendulkar scored 40 runs in 68 deliveries with 6 fours.now Sachin Tendulkar is just 7 runs far away from 17,000 runs in ODI cricket.
