Australia lead the series by 3-2

Today on 5th November 2009,India was played the 5th match of Hero Honda cup-2009 against Australia at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, India. this match was very high scoring match.Australia set the target for India was 351 runs in limited 50 overs as a first batting inning.at the early of the match, Australia won the toss and choose to bat first.today’s big news was Sachin Tendulkar passed his 17,000 runs of the ODI cricket with outstanding century of 175 runs in just 141 balls with 19 fours and 4 sixes.now Sachin Tendulkar’s number of century in ODI is 45.

Australia won the 5th match by 3 runs and lead the series by 3-2.Man of the Match was Sachin Tendulkar.

Australia’s Batting

Australia’s starting was very very good and their’s both opener Shane Watson and Shaun Marsh played outstanding cricket and scored 93 runs in just 89 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes and 112 runs in 112 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes. Ricky Ponting scored 45 runs in 45 balls with 3 fours and 1 six. Cameron White scored 57 runs in 33 balls with 2 four and 5 sixes. Every All Indian bowlers gives much more runs. Praveen Kumar took 2 wickets for India. Ashish Nehra and Harbhajan Singh took 1 wicket each.

India’s starting was good, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag played outstanding and spectacular shot.Highlight of the Indian inning was one and only Sachin Tendulkar’s 175 runs in just 141 deliveries.this century was 45th century of the Sachin Tendulkar in ODI career.but this 175 runs of sachin was not enough for India to won the match.
