India lost 1st match by 4 runs against Australia

Today on 25th October 2009,India played 1st ODI of 7 match series against Australia in Vadodara.at the early of the match,Australia won the toss and choose to bat first and he set the target for India was 293 runs in limited 50 overs.India started strongly to achieve that target but whenever India far away only 4 runs to target then 50 overs completed and India lost the 1st match by 4 runs against Australia and Australia lead the 7 ODI match series by 1-0.Man of the Match was Mike Hussey.

Australia won the toss and choose to bat first.at the start Indian bowling attack was in form and they took wickets of one opener of the Australia but then after Ricky Ponting’s team manage 292/8 in limited 50 overs.Mike Hussey scored 73 runs in just 54 balls with 8 fours and 1 six.Ricky Ponting scored 74 runs in 85 deliveries with 8 fours and 2 sixes.Indian Express Ishant Sharma took 3 main wickets of the Australia.India’s Man in Form Ashish Nehra took 2 important wickets of the Australia.

India’s start was average because after some powerful hit Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar out by Australia’s bowler.Gautam Gambhir played outstanding inning for the India.Praveen Kumar and Harbhajan Singh are also played great inning and they were never give up during the match and at the end of the match but that was not enough for India and India lost the 1st match by 4 runs.
