New Zealand won against Srilanka in ICC Champions Trophy 2009

Today on 27th September 2009,match 7 of Group B, Newzealand played ODI against Srilanka at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, SA.at the  start of the match Srilanka won the toss and choose to field first.this decision was completely wrong because New Zealand manage 315/7 in limited 50 overs and set the target for Srilanka was 316 runs in limited 50 overs.New Zealand won against Srilanka.

New Zealand’s batting inning starting was super duper hit and 125 runs scored by opener of New Zealand’s Brendon Mccullum and Jesse Ryder.one down Martin Guptill scored also 66 runs in 76 balls with 3 fours and 1 six.Daniel Vettori played captain’s inning and he scored 48 runs in 44 deliveries with 4 fours and 1 six.Sanath Jayasuriya took 3 wickets and world number 1 bowler Nuwan Kulashekhra took 2 wickets for Srilanka.But at the end of the batting of New Zealand,he manage 315/7 in limited 50 overs and set target for Srilanka was 316 runs.

In the answer of target of New Zealand,Srilanka’s starting was absolutely good and opener of srilanka scored 66 runs in 7.1 overs.T M Dilshan scored 41 runs in just 31 balls with 7 fours and 1 six.Mahela Jayawardene played out standing inning and he scored 77 runs in 85 balls.
