India won the Compaq cup 2009

Today on 14th September,India make one more history at R.Premadasa Stadium(Khettarama), Colombo, SL and won the final of Triangular(India,Srilanka,New Zealand, Compaq cup-2009) series by 46 runs against Srilanka.India won the Compaq cup by 46 runs.Harbhajan took 5 wickets and he set the win for India.

At the start,India won the Toss and Choose to bat first and this decision is very clever and India won the half of the final match.India scored 319/5 in limited 50 overs.Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar made his 44th century in ODI(One Day International) and he scored 138 runs in 133 balls with 10 fours and 1 six.captain M S Dhoni scored outstanding 56 runs in 62 balls with 3 fours.Yuvraj Singh made outstanding 56* in just 41 balls with 6 fours and 1 six.Rahul Dravid also played beautifully and scored 39 runs in 56 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.Yusuf Pathan and Suresh Raina’s flopped show continuously done and they scored 0 and 8 runs respectively.India set target for Srilanka was 320 runs in limited 50 overs.

For the try to achieve the target of 320 runs,Srilanka’s start was beautiful and opening pair scored 64 runs in just 7.5 overs.T Dilshan scored 42 runs in just 29 balls with 9 outstanding fours.Sanath Jayasuriya made 36 runs in 29 balls with 7 fours.Thilina Kandamby’s great show also continue in this match and he scored 66 runs in 94 balls.Srilanka manage just 273/10 in 46.6 overs.India won the Tri angular series by 46 runs against Srilanka.Harbhajan Singh’s outstanding inning was very useful for India to win the Compaq cup 2009.he took 5 wickets for India.
