Opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games 2010 will take place in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on 3rd October.The budget for the 19th Commonwealth Games is the US$1.6 billion which is very large compared with all the budget of the Commonwealth Games.budget of the last 18th Commonwealth which is hosted by Melbourne(Australia) was US$1.1 billion and second last budget of the Commonwealth which is hosted by Manchester(United Kingdom) was US$420 million which was very low compared with the India’s budget for the Commonwealth Games 2010.stadium plan was executed by Commonwealth Games Federation of India.

for the Commonwealth Games,The Indira Gandhi International Airport has been modernized.one new terminal will constructed by DDA(Delhi Development Association).this new terminal is named as a terminal 3 which have been constructed at total cost US$1.94 billion with the capability to cater to more than 37 million passengers a year by 2010 and the planned expansion program will increase its capacity to handle 100 million passengers by 2030.the Terminal 3 is the two tier building in which bottom floor is the arrival area and top floor is the departure area.the Terminal 3 has 130 check counters,55 aerobridges,30 parking bays,72 Immigration Counters and much more.
